The Days of ’47 Children’s Parade. The kids were asked to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up. Sydney dressed up as an artist and Isaac went as a baseball player.

Isaac shooting with the help of his uncle Keith. My pesky brother-in-law was an excellent teacher. Somehow I didn’t end up with a picture of Sydney shooting a gun. She only wanted to shoot ONE bullet but once that cute little girl got her finger on the trigger she went crazy!
After about 3 days and 37 hours of driving we made it to the Grand Canyon.
We were lucky to see some California Condors.
This spider was in the men’s bathroom on one of the trails. Just thought we should warn you if you are planning a trip to the Grand Canyon.
There is actually very good cell phone reception (unless you hike down into the canyon).
We forgot to pack jackets so we had to stop at a Wal-mart in Flagstaff, AZ. Sydney ended up with this goofy red sweater. Liz ended up with a PINK jacket. Those were
I knew this morning that Sydney was going to have two teeth extracted at the dentist’s office (Yikes!) so I raided my money stash for toothfairy money. Nothing.
Later as I was getting dressed I noticed something was in the pocket of my capri pants. Two wadded up and very clean (cause they went through the washer) dollar bills! I don’t think I can rightfully chalk this coincidence up to a tithing blessing but I’ll take it.
The kids and I got to go see the last shuttle launch up close while Peter was in London. The coolest thing about being closer was being able to feel it shaking the ground like an earthquake.
